Introduction to the Speaker
Dr. Luning Zhang received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Fudan University. He received a Ph.D. in chemistry under the supervision of Y. Ron Shen from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008, specialized in the application of nonlinear optics to the study of surface chemistry. From 2008 to 2010, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford Research Institute, working on the characterization of ultra high temperature ceramics and thermal protection systems. He joined Siemens Corporate Technology in 2010 as an innovation research scientist.
